Adieu

I bid the last farewell,
to a school I've known all along,
nothing of the memories can sell,
the good relationships that were strong.

Let the pictures convey the happy times that I had at MTS......and I await with bated breath of starting life afresh at TNS.........only a slight hint..yeah the school is at Marine Parade....I hate the location...otherwise....nearby amenities are easily accessible...hehehehhehee...


The last picture of me and one of my pupils during the salad fruit making HE and English lessons....I was trying out to eat her group's master recipe concoction....it looked unappetizing initially, nonetheless, it tasted delicious...What a rich vault of memoirs for me to haul for a lifetime...au revoir MTS..... 



This was a very happening table of teachers during Teacher's Day Dinner where only the teachers at this table adorned masks...the creative ideas of Sobah, who is in the pink attire and Cat Chionh, the sexy sleeveless lady beside her.Beside me is Uncle Hassan, one of the caretakers of the school and Auntie Janaki, also the other caretaker......haiz....gonna miss all of them.... 



This was me...during Sports day...I was under the weather at that time..see my pallid face....yeah in charge of first aid...behind me were my former P4 ex-pupils who are going to be P6 next year and the 2 cute boys beside me were my P3 Science pupils who are proceeding to P4 next year...all the 4 of them were my volunteer assistants on that day..I'm gonna miss them to bits..



This was taken when I was assessing them on an English project that they had done in groups...yeah the "SEED" approach....massive task to undertake but I persevered however with unappreciated consequences from the "Mak Datin" and my RO.



A walk down memory lane...my first day with my P2 cherubs during orientation before they started P2 in 2005..I was naive and nervous handling them but through the months I learnt to love them. 



Here is the enthusiastic gardener..it was the last CIP I was doing for the school. 



Missing

On the ground flowers maimed,
Trampled by the ignorance of time,
The memories of a friend decayed ,
Sweet times missed but all in sublime.

I used to have a friend, Sulis, who went through thick and thin with me...we lost contact and then coincidentally met again during training at NIE.....I am still puzzled as to the reasons of her distancing herself from me...even if one's married, that individual does not have to put a good friend of so many years aside......I know who my true friends are......even at the downward points of my life, they were there for me and still are.....Thea, Noi, Azian, Eton and S....thanx for your patience and listening ears you lend through these years.....hmmm....


yep, eventual purchase of the latest J.K Rowling's work.....currently relishing the plot....it's a riddle as to how I am entranced by it....others must have bought the book earlier becos at that time I was not too enraptured by it.......however now, it's a twist...hehehe...I watched Harry Potter again with my siblings...do I have the permission to be betrothed to Cedric please, even if it's with his apparition?(*wink *wink at Iman) 



Harry Potter

A boy who had lived,
Harry Potter is his name,
His magical powers strengthened,
His humility catapults him to fame.

Harry Potter, the famous work of J.K Rowling.......I adore her books on Harry Potter...so now I should purchase the latest novel of " Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"..yeah..waiting for the price to falter a little....hehehhee....


Finally, I caught a movie with yet another ex-colleague of mine....I immensely lurve this movie out of the 4 harry potter series....yes, I confess, I am a Harry Potter freak....many of my fellow compatriots are Harry Potter fans...I am definitely going to watch the movie again..just like Hus(wink*wink*)...I read the book before but I had never imagined that the visions I framed in my mind whilst I was reading from the book could come to the big screen.....thanks to the fabulous special effects...can I join Hogwarts as well?..hmmmm I give it a two thumbs up! 



War torn

Blood spurts out of a wound,
The lame body of a child on the ground,
Why war happens too soon?
As in the ears the tit tat of gunfires sound.

I was surfing through the net as I chanced upon these pictures of children suffering in wars..I was stricken with grief...I just could not fathom human nature at the expense of children dying for a lost cause....Masya Allah....


A visit

Many happy moments,
A visit of joy and laughter ,

Dropped by Thea's dwelling yesterday.It has been awhile that I had not seen her.She's still the same, comical and jovial Thea.Did errands for her before I reached her place and went home late...around 11 pm at nite I guess...as Dionne Warwick sang 'What Friends are For'.... hurhurhur..


It's harrowing to see children suffering just because of human greed...how can we mend this?what if this happens to our children?

Look at the screen..gargantuan ehh....it's not a typical television screen..and I am not in the cinema, oogling away...hehehe...it's from a projector..n it's 'Return of the Sith'..I am a die hard fanatic fan of the Star Wars saga..no denying about it...yep.I went to Thea's house for the overdue Hari Raya visit...it was fun filled with many chores...hehehe...such as being her assistant in making chocolate chip cookies, washing the dishes, eating macaroni which she cooked......anyone care to be the next assistant?...hmmm

Syawalina has brought the brightness into Abah's family as well as I....she's the apple of my eye...hmmm

Syawalina is growing stronger and bigger each day...she's mischievious too.. 



Time

Time is of greatest essence,
If not aware then it's gone forever,
It's full of lessons,
Do we have the patience and endeavour?

I wish I can turn back time. I wish I can alter the life's trail that I am treading now that is the struggle with NTU,the constant tugging of my brother n I between my parents, the new school that I am heading . However, I cherish that I met Iman.If I could have stopped my parents' eventual split then, if I could have studied harder....would I have to struggle now?Do I have the willpower to experience life's harshness again?I do not know whether I could muster the remainder strength within me.The question is.....can I?


Transition

An entity on the transition,
From a dilapidated abode,
An uncertain place of tension,
whose eyes seems to gloat...

I am transferred to another school nearer to my place.....not another school of the same type....arghhh...........the question on my mind is....can i survive under yet another set of them.....why do MOE placed me in another similar environment?I PREFER A NEIGHBOURHOOD SCHOOL!...hmm


Reborn

A new life received,
composed and refreshed,
together with a loved one achieved,
striving for this life's best.
