This scene is not at a faraway land...near to us, yet so far..Kranji War Memorial..yep, my P4 pupils and I visited Kranji War Memorial on a cloudless sweltering afternoon..it was eerily quiet....as I gazed at the thousands of names engraved on the wall, tears started to trickle down my face...as to hide the sudden grief, I hurriedly turned my back on them and wiped the tears away while the guide's voice droned continuously...haiz....erti hidup..




At Fort Canning Hill after visiting Battle Box with my dear pupil, Denise...it made me to ponder...are the sacrifices of these people in the past bear any significance to us in the present....come to think of it....they go unnoticed....swept away like specks of dust...it's sad....
