Eid Mubarak to all...did not do much house visiting..the end of year exams for pupils...hmm..anyways,OH is very adept at weaving ketupat...two years ago, I weaved quite an amount for my mum...but for strange reasons, this year, I kinda somehow lost the technique...hmmm...well..practice makes perfect rite...OH's mum made my favourite sambal goreng pengantin ahh...how nice ehh...... I am gonna learn all the domestic chores like sewing curtains and making baju kurung during the school hols.....yeah......hehehe...nolah it's not coerced..I volunteered to be coached..reasons undisclosed... 



Yeah..yeahh..the new Plasma TV...wif the..what is the new sound system termed...the Kardon surround sound system....all the sounds blaring from the Kardon speakers...errrghhh...all thanks to my generous younger brother...:OP 



Although my mum and I did not make any festive goodies this year, alah biasa lah.....semua curi dari kedai...hehehe..the table was laden with so many of them... 



My sis who's going to be in Sec 2 next year n the authentic and ancient moi

I should be spring cleaning and surrounded in the festive mood...but NOOOOOO......coz there are piles of drudgery to finish...yep..I have to prioritize..endless markings...a stack of compo exam papers,Science practice papers, English corrections,Science workbooks and the list goes on.....plus the NIE assignments.....biler seyy nak abis....it seems my schedule is abundant.....fortunately Monday, the Muslim teachers are allowed to leave at 10 am...if not,the house would be in shambles....

Had a scare....my late first aunt died from it....my late grandmother died from it...it's hereditary..was coerced by Abah to take immediate action,thus had to miss the last day of PSLE marking..went to the family physician with a dread going constantly on my mind....will this be my last Hari Raya with my loved ones....will I be able to taste marriage and motherhood?....will my past sins be forgiven?....I dragged my feet to the doctor's room...and when the cold hands of Dr Koh touched the left mound with the hideous lump on it.....she nonchalantly said," No worries.It's just a huge pimple.Nothing serious.It's not breast cancer." I heaved a sigh of relief when she mentioned that....phewwww.......alhamdulilah....Allah had given me another opportunity to repent......Thank You Ya Rabbi!

They are more essential than its stones or beams, and they will continue to be a kindling force and a revealing power in our lives."quoted by the old Deepak Mehta to his teacher in "The Emperor's Club".........a poignant movie to the finale of CEM 231 module on a late Saturday morning...Hus n I watched it when the last group did their presentation in a very creative manner...ader popcorn and drinks in the tutorial room..but they packed it for us as they knew we were fasting....macam kat movie theatre seyy...intervals of meaningful discussions on the "Teacher and Society"....I think I will look for the movie to add to my favourite feature films...I would like to recommend it to my fellow colleagues too...it's worth to watch...:O) 



Hus n I were at Jurong Point and coincidentally caught sight of Taufik Batisah, Hady Mirza,Jonathan Leong,Sylvester and the other Singapore Idols.We were subsequently besotted...it really surprised us both(Hus n I)...hahahhaha and I squeaked like a little crazed girl when I saw Taufik upclose...manakan tidak...hensem rabakzzz...:P 



Then off I went to meet OH...we headed to Breeks..OH couldn't wait for his chicken chop..hehe 



It was our first time to iftar at Breeks...and a once in a blue moon iftar session at a cafe..scrumptious Western delicacies such as lasagna and chicken chop...in addition to dessert...yummy! 



To end the simply wonderful day, we went to Geylang Serai bazaar...packed like sardines.....myriad of items and knick knacks sold... 



Iftar at Siam Kitchen at Parkway Parade today with my colleagues..Nura n I headed there first after the sample Compo P4 exam marking.. and eventually there were 7 of us, morning and afternoon sessions combined at the restaurant...quiet repartee amidst the bustling ambience....we ordered the buffet at $19.90 per person plus $1.99 free flow of ice lemon teas....makan tak abisss beb.....perut sampai nak meletup...hehehehhe...should do this more often ehh...;)

Whenever I recalled my childhood moments with Mum and Dad during the festival of Eid,tears began to form....I was so encapsulated with the memories that I cease to remember the significance of Ramadhan.....I ain't jealous when I witness happy families...why should I when I am surrounded with my loved ones...whatever the reasons are, I am absorbed with the atmosphere and anticipation of Eid....hope that the deeds and fast are conceded by the Almighty...


Clutter

The workplace is a big mess,
Books and stationery in a clutter,
