My Cousin A little girl of five that is my cousin, A stranger to me since she was born, Your mother's relationship with me is not pleasant, Left an aunt and a niece full of scorn. -Haze What a day it had been yesterday with tutorials at NIE, project discussion with Her and Vilas and afterwards, my unwanted visit to my aunt's house at Chai Chee to do the project....saw Hus eventually...she looks cheerful and lively during the tutorials....whereas my mien was in turmoil....I did not want to visit me aunt...just for the sake of the project, I had to do it...arghhh...honestly, I've never met my little cousin since she was like less than a year old...and now she's coming to 6....wow...how bad that is right....to add to the misery, my Mum was accompanying me....she was full of sarcasm and retorted about how I was not mingling with her side and stuff...duhhh...that really irked me but what the heck,ignorance is better than responding which would add more fuel to the fire...I was ready to face the inevitable moment(sniggers)....well, alhamdulilah the session turned out fine with my cuzzie and her mother...phewww....I am trying to renew the broken threads of ties between me and my Mum's side.....hope it does becoz it would affect the.....(better keep it under wraps here) ..heh...nothing...hmm..back to lesson planning now...hmm |
